The Principality of Andorra is a small country with a population of 85,000 inhabitants. It is found in the heart of the Pyrnees. It is a country that since World War II has seen an important development in it's domains, mainly due to it's tourism and commerce.

Andorra has always been an independent country except during a small time in history when Napoleon annexed Andorra to France.

Today Andorra is divided into small independent districts like Canillo which has the largest surface area, Encamp, Ordino, La Massana, Andorra la Vella which is the capital of the country, and Escaled Engordany and San Julia de Loria.

In the peak of Comapedrosa you'll find yourself at 2,946 meters above sea level. This is the highest point in Andorra.

Today it is a country that lives off tourism, it is 80% of it's income. All of this is owed to it's ski resorts, beautiful landscape and because of the many apartments, hostels, hotels, houses villas and much more for you to stay in during your holidays. The official language is Catalan, and they also speak french and spanish.
