Baqueira Beret represents the most important ski resort in the Catalonian Pyrnees in northern Spain. It is in the heart of the Aran Valley, and was founded by Luis Arias in 1964. Today it is one of the most important in the country as well well as the most complete station in the Pyrenees.

Baqueira, Beret and Bonaigua are thre areas in which you'll find this station that has it's own slopes, different levels, Beret being the ideal one for beginners, and then Bonaigua which is also for beginners but with a little bit more experience. There there comes Baqueira where you must have the basic level.

Catalonian, Spanish and Frech, together with Aranes are the languages most spoken in this area of the Pyrenees in northern Spain. It is well know for it's hispano/french gastronomy.

Baqueira has great infrastructures for the coming tourists. It has a wide offer of restaurants, hotels, houses, apartments, cafeterias, hostels, villas, and of course ski and snowboards schools where you'll recieve excellent lessons.

Baqueira is also a town of adventurous sports, especially during the winter seasons!
